Day 10 - 25 Days of Christmas

Tonight was all about spending time with family and friends. We have gotten to be good friends with a co-worker of Ryan's and his family. We always have so much fun when we hang out together. Tonight was their daughters birthday party so we had a lot of fun with our family and theirs! I am so thankful for good friendships. Oh....and I couldn't pass up the sunglasses...they were only 1.00!!!!

Day 9 - 25 Days of Christmas

Today as a family we learned about the advent calendar! It was very interesting. My kids just thought that it was a simple little calendar to get chocolates or change everyday. It has been fun learning new things about what we thought we knew all about! We have the advent calendars in our house!

Day 8 - 25 Days of Christmas

The girls had a lot of fun with the project tonight! We made snowflakes and really enjoyed doing it! The girls were so creative...well, so were Ryan and I! Madisyn is a typical teenager and wasn't home! Here are some pictures!

Day 7 - 25 Days of Christmas

Today Lexy went to go and see The Nutcracker with her class at school for the holiday! She got up extra early and Madisyn curled her hair and she got to wear a new outfit. She looked really cute!

Day 6 - 25 Days of Christmas

Today we baked cookies and had hot chocolate! I had some chocolate chip cookie dough that was going to go bad so we baked those! It is bedtime now and the kids are a little hyper....Ryan seems to think it is all of the sugar in the cookies and hot chocolate!!!

Day 5 - 25 Days of Christmas

What we did for day 5 was really cool! Emily had to do a Christmas around the world doll. As a family we learned how Christmas is celebrated in Jamaica. It was really interesting! She then had to decorate a doll! We listened to Christmas carols in reggae!

Day 4 - 25 Days of Christmas

Today was awesome! We got to go shopping for names on the Angel Tree. Ryan's work is awesome. We shopped for 22 kids on Saturday and they are shopping for 10 more on Tuesday. We spent around 100.00/child and Wal-Mart was great to us. They even gave us a 10% discount! Lexy and Emily got to go with us and help pick items out. I love being able to let them do this!
